Carlsmith Ball Hires Associate Tina Tsuchiyama in Honolulu
Carlsmith Ball has hired Tina Tsuchiyama as an associate in the firm’s Honolulu office. She focuses on real property, land use, and Hawaii state and government issues as a member of the firm’s Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group.
Tsuchiyama received her law degree from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law in Honolulu, graduating cum laude with a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Business Lawyering in Asia. She served as senior editor for the school’s Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal, a legal journal covering law and policy issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
While in law school, Tsuchiyama served as a research assistant to Professor David Callies, a preeminent real property attorney and professor of law in Hawaii, and as a legal extern to the Honorable Mark E. Recktenwald of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. She returns to Carlsmith Ball after participating in the firm’s summer associate program as a law student.
