Carlsmith Ball Hires Kristin Y. Fujiyama in Honolulu Office
Carlsmith Ball LLP is pleased to announce that Kristin Y. Fujiyama has joined the firm's Honolulu office as an associate in the Tax and Estate Planning practice group. She will focus on estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
Fujiyama received her J.D. from the University of Hawaiʻi, William S. Richardson School of Law, where, among other things, she served as the Co-Editor in Chief of the Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal and as the Chief Justice of the Student Bar Association. During law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law, Evidence, Legal Research, and Contracts I. Since graduating, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable R. Mark Browning (Ret.), Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit.
Fujiyama received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology with minor certificates in Political Science and Ethnic Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa.
