Jaehee Lauren Choi is Of Counsel in the firm's Honolulu office and is a member of the Transactional Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, financing and lending, and corporate transactions.
Lauren's prior professional experience includes corporate and project finance work at Paul Hastings (Tokyo office), and mergers & acquisitions, and finance work at Bae, Kim & Lee in South Korea. Most recently, for the past 13 years, Lauren was a foreign lawyer at Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in South Korea, handling real estate, mergers & acquisitions and finance matters. She has extensive deal experience in complex transactions, including as a first-chair/lead attorney.
Lauren received her J.D. from Boston College Law School, and her Bachelor of Law, summa cum laude, from Korea University. She is fluent in English, Korean and French.
