Laya Dudley is an Associate in the firm's Honolulu office and a member of its Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group.
Laya attained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law, specializing in International & Comparative Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani.
During her tenure at law school, Laya distinguished herself as a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team and served as a research assistant to Prof. Lenese Herbert. Her professional experience also encompasses an internship at the Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney's office. Notably, Laya was honored the CALI Excellence for the Gender: Law and Conflicts, the Future Awards in Civil Procedure II and Comparative Law.
